The Bridgeway Internship

Participants will work through a series of corporate finance and capital markets projects. They will gain hands-on training in the core activities of an analyst working in investment banking and capital markets. Interns will work closely with Bridgeway’s debt capital markets team and provide support in the origination and execution of financing transactions for Fortune 500 clients. 

The internship will also offer opportunities to network with clients as well as colleagues at top global investment banks. Upon completion of the program, students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to help them secure and excel in full-time positions in investment banking. 

 

Details of Intern's Role

 

Candidates should expect to develop a variety of key skills and experience in the following: 

 

• Develop knowledge of the financial markets and utilize corporate finance and accounting skills to advise corporate debt issuers on optimal financing and refinancing opportunities

• Assist the debt capital markets team in the execution of their day-to-day functions including: 

  • Assist in preparing financial analysis and models using Excel

  • Prepare client pitches, presentations, and market updates using PowerPoint

  • Conduct economic and financial research using (Factset, Bloomberg?) 

  • Participation in meetings with investment bankers and clients

• Significant training and mentoring will be provided by the senior bankers to ensure interns maximize their learning and experience

• Freshman and sophomores (2027 & 2028 college graduates) 

• Highly motivated candidates who have a strong interest in finance and/or business

• Candidates who are resourceful and have a natural curiosity for how things work, a tenacious attitude towards research, and the ability to think independently

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

• Ability to work through multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines

• Candidates must be able to commit to a minimum of 10-15 hours a week for 6-8 weeks

• Available to start work on or before June XX, 2025

• Option to work Remotely or out of our Austin, TX or New York, NY location
